This holistic approach to accurately identifying scope and estimating project size will significantly reduce your time to plan and estimate. This approach helps ensure that deliverables are not overlooked during the planning process. It provides a means for easily capturing the knowledge and experience of team members. It provides the foundation for accurate schedules. The WBS approach to planning is the most effective and efficient technique for accurately planning and estimating projects and programs. Your instructor, Bill Stewart, has been teaching and facilitating Work Breakdown Structures for over 35 years. This is your opportunity to learn from the expert on WBS planning and estimating. This exciting, virtual workshop that will provide you with the skills, experience and confidence to efficiently and effectively produce work breakdowns for all of your projects and/or programs.
You will learn how to:
- Rapidly identify all deliverables that must be produced to successfully deliver your own project solutions
- Decompose project and program solutions down to the work package level where ownership is assigned
- Conduct accurate bottom up estimating
- Build a library of WBS templates to be used in future project planning
- Create a WBS on one of your own projects
